At Adventure Hammock Systems, we stand behind our products and want your experience to be straightforward and fair. Please review the policy below before starting a return or exchange.

To initiate a return or exchange, please use our customer portal.


Damages, Defects & Order Issues

Please inspect your order immediately upon receipt.

If your item is defective, damaged, or you received the wrong product, contact us as soon as possible so we can make it right. To help us evaluate the issue, please submit photos of the product and packaging through our customer portal.

All damage or defect claims must be submitted within 5 days of package delivery.


Returns

  • Returns must be initiated through our customer portal.

  • Returns must be initiated within 30 days of item receipt.

  • Once approved, return authorization is valid for 30 days.

  • Original shipping charges are non-refundable.

  • Returned items must be:

    • Uninstalled

    • In new, unused condition

    • Complete with all hardware and original packaging

Items that are returned damaged, incomplete, or not in resellable condition may be subject to deductions or denied a refund.

Refunds are issued only after returned items are received and inspected and returned to sellable inventory.


Checkout+ Returns (No Restocking Fees)

If you selected Checkout+ at the time of purchase:

  • Return shipping is included

  • A prepaid return label will be provided through our customer portal

  • No restocking fees apply

  • Eligible for refund, exchange, or store credit


Standard Returns (Without Checkout+)

If Checkout+ was not selected at checkout:

  • You are responsible for purchasing a return shipping label through our customer portal; and,

  • A 20% restocking fee will be deducted from your refund to cover inspection, refurbishment, and restocking costs

Additional deductions may apply if returned items are damaged, missing components, or not returned in original condition.


Refunds

Once your return is received and inspected, we will notify you of approval or denial.

Approved refunds will be issued to your original payment method within 10 business days after inspection. Please note that processing times may vary depending on your bank or credit card provider.

Right of Withdrawal

Under the EU Consumer Rights Directive, you have the right to withdraw from many contracts within 14 days of receiving your order, without providing any reason.

Please note that under Article 14(1) of Directive 2011/83/EU, customers are responsible for the cost of return shipping. A prepaid label will be provided through our withdrawal portal; the label cost will be deducted from your refund.

At checkout, you may add withdrawal coverage to your order. If you purchased withdrawal coverage, your return shipping is fully covered at no additional cost when you exercise your right of withdrawal. Please note that customers who do not purchase withdrawal coverage are responsible under Article 14(1) of Directive 2011/83/EU for the cost of return shipping. A prepaid label will be provided through our withdrawal portal; the label cost will be deducted from your refund.

We will issue your refund within fourteen (14) days of receiving notification of your cancellation, or, if later, once we have received the returned goods or you have provided proof that the goods have been shipped back to us.

This right applies to all items purchased through our store, with certain exceptions such as digital products, perishable goods, sealed personal hygiene products, and personalized items, as set forth in Article 16 of Directive 2011/83/EU.

This Returns & Refunds Policy is part of and incorporated into our Terms of Service. We reserve the right to update this policy at any time, with changes effective upon posting.
